The first Nepali worshipper came to GGBP worship service in 2002. In 2004, the Nepali Service started with 15 Nepalese, both Christians and non-Christians. They were from the English Language class which was conducted in the church.
Between 2004 and 2006, we depend on Nepali pastors from other churches to conduct Bible studies and preach God’s Word. Many came to know the Lord and were baptized. A rented place at Wawasan Industrial Area was made available for them to have Bible studies and invite friends to their fellowship gatherings.
In May 2007, the Nepali Fellowship was blessed with a full-time worker to minister to the Nepali congregation.
By 2010, a Nepali Fellowship Centre was set up in the middle of town and another Nepali Fellowship Centre at Taman Megah to cater to the needs of the Nepali workers.
God has blessed this fellowship by adding numbers to the fellowship which stands at 55 now. This is a many-fold increase since we started the Nepali Ministry. Praise the Lord.
